Our post forwarding service:
We provide a number of options for despatching physical post for our customers.
Customers can choose to have post sent on receipt, on request, weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
All post is sent Royal Mail 1st Class Standard Domestic / International postage unless otherwise requested.
boatmail.co.uk customers can also request their post be despatched with tracking (please refer to Royal Mail’s current price list) . These items are booked for collection from boatmail.co.uk for the next working day.
To reflect costs incurred, any postings requiring a Post Office receipt will incur an additional £5 charge (e.g. Recorded Signed For, Special Delivery, International Signed For).
Parcel handling is charged at £5 per item. Parcels sent via courier are collected from boatmail.co.uk directly.
Each time mail is dispatched, a statement of account is sent by e-mail to show the opening balance, any account payments received, service charges made and balance remaining.
Should the account balance be insufficient to cover the costs of providing any of our services, you will be requested to make a top up payment to your account before any further services are provided.
Our scanning service:
This is a quick and easy way to receive your mail wherever you are in the world.
We have developed this service to help turn your physical correspondence mail into an electronic document which is forwarded to your registered email address. This allows you to conveniently open the document on your computer, handheld device or mobile phone wherever you are in the world.
When your mail is received at our secure address, it is then scanned to produce a PDF and forwarded as an e-mail attachment.
The hard copy original is shredded at the end of the following calendar month after it has been scanned and the electronic PDF version of your mail is deleted from our files after 3 months.
If you need an original copy of an item. It can be retained (for up to 60 days) or immediately forwarded to you upon request.
